With this award, we would like to honor outstanding companies that make a significant contribution to ecological and social transformation through sustainable approaches and environmentally friendly innovations.
The criteria
At the Munich Management Colloquium on March 10 and 11, 2026 The award recognizes companies that stand out for their sustainability, innovative strength and exceptional commitment. The jury, consisting of leading experts from science and practice, will evaluate the submitted solutions based on the following criteria:
- CO2-footprint: The influence of corporate activities on carbon dioxide emissions.
- Resource use and consumption: Efficiency in the use of materials and resources.
- Share of renewable energies: The use of renewable energy sources in business operations.
- Supply chain responsibility: The selection and monitoring of suppliers according to sustainability criteria.
- Social integration: Promoting diversity and integration in the world of work.
- Degree of transferability: The possibility of transferring sustainable measures and technologies to other areas and industries.
The innovations to be awarded must make a measurable contribution to environmental and climate protection. This can be achieved through the conservation of valuable resources, the use of sustainable materials, the use of renewable energies and the promotion of the circular economy. Solutions that are significantly more efficient and sustainable than existing products and processes deserve public recognition.
The jury
A jury of experts from business and science evaluates the submitted concepts and selects the winner. It brings a wide range of expertise and experience to the table in order to recognize innovative approaches.
