Thomas Kaeser, Managing Partner of KAESER KOMPRESSOREN GmbH in Coburgspoke in his presentation "Innovation management with lean processes for products and services" about success factors for profitable growth using the example of Kaeser Kompressoren GmbH, a manufacturer of compressors and compressed air technology products.
Since 1985, Thomas Kaeser has been Managing Partner of KAESER KOMPRESSOREN GmbH, a leading global company that manufactures and markets products, services and complete systems for supplying production and work processes with compressed air as an energy source.
Since its foundation in June 1919, KAESER KOMPRESSOREN GmbH has grown steadily through acquisitions and the expansion of its product range. Today, the company, headquartered in Coburg (Upper Franconia), has over 3,000 employees and is represented in over 70 countries on all continents. The accelerated development of innovative and customer-oriented products and the optimization of internal company processes are among Thomas Kaeser's most important tasks.
Thomas Kaeser joined his parents' company in 1979 after studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and spending time as a trainee in France and the USA. He has been a managing partner of Kaeser Kompressoren GmbH since 1985.
Thomas Kaeser is Chairman of the vbw Upper Franconia district group and Chairman of the Western Region of VBM and BayME. He is also a member of the board of the VDMA (German Engineering Federation), the exhibitor and trade fair advisory board of the Hannover Messe and the PNEUROP Council.
In his contribution to the 15th Munich Management Colloquium, Thomas Kaeser will address the topic of innovation management with lean processes and services and examine the question of whether lean value creation structures are an enabler for profitable growth.
