Dr. Uwe Knotzer

Dr. Uwe Knotzer has been Managing Partner of the Knauf Group since June 2021. He began his career at Voith in 2002, during which time he held various management positions in service and sales at Voith Paper. From 2012 to 2015, Knotzer was responsible for the "Products & Services" division on the Management Board of Voith Paper, before joining the Corporate Board of Management of the Group in 2015 as Chairman of the Management Board of Voith Turbo.

Knotzer received his doctorate in process engineering from Graz University of Technology in 2002. He has published specialist papers in the field of paper production and headed the cooperative research project "Paper Structure". Prior to this, he completed his Matura in Salzburg and obtained a diploma in process engineering at Graz University of Technology.
