biography
Dr. Marco Heck, MMS Manager, Mann+Hummel GmbHspoke in his presentation "Increased product and process quality as a building block for crisis management" about challenges, ways and strategies out of the crisis from the perspective of a medium-sized automotive supplier.
Dr. Marco Heck studied industrial engineering in Kaiserslautern (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.) with a focus on production management and general mechanical engineering. While working for several years as a management consultant specializing in lean management and risk management, he obtained his doctorate in 2003 from the Technical University of Munich.
During his career at MANN+HUMMEL, he worked as Lean Manager and Head of Quality, focusing on the implementation of lean concepts in development and production as well as the realization of zero-defect programs. He is currently responsible for the central quality management of the MANN+HUMMEL Group as well as Six Sigma within the Automotive division. The "Project Management Office", which defines the standards within the product development process at MANN+HUMMEL, is also assigned to this function.
In his contribution to the 17th Munich Management Colloquium, Dr. Marco Heck will discuss the particular challenges facing a medium-sized automotive supplier with regard to quality management in times of crisis. He will also describe the levers and fields of action in the areas of process and product quality.
