Dr. Jimmy Abualdenien

Dr. Jimmy Abualdenien is Chief Innovation Officer for the Design Division at Nemetschek Group and Chief Technology Officer of its Open Collaboration Platform.

He leads innovation strategy and technology direction across design, collaboration platforms, and digital twins, with a focus on AI-driven workflows, connected data, and open ecosystems for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. His work brings together product vision, cloud architecture, and applied AI to connect people, information, and software throughout the building lifecycle.

Previously, Jimmy led the product vision and architecture of dTwin, Nemetschek’s open digital twin platform, and founded BIMtech, where he developed software to automate BIM-based workflows and improve the user experience.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and combines research expertise with entrepreneurial experience to translate emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions for the built environment.
