Chiara Pedersoli, born on December 12, 1973 in Desenzano del Garda (Italy), studied aerospace engineering at the Politecnico di Milano (Milan).

After completing her master’s thesis at the European Space Agency in Darmstadt, she worked at various institutes (DLR/GSOC in Oberpfaffenhofen, ESA-ESOC and Eumetsat) and in industry (Airbus UK/DE, Kayser-Threde/OHB in Munich), initially as an engineer on earth observation, navigation and exploration missions with increasing responsibility.

Since January 2020, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of OHB System, responsible for engineering and testing responsible for all technical departments in the company in Bremen and Oberpfaffenhofen.

Since February 1, 2024, Ms. Pedersoli has taken over the role of CEO of OHB System AG from Mr. Marco Fuchs.

OHB System AG, with ca. 1500 employees, is a subsidiary of OHB SE, Germany’s first listed space and technology company, which employs around 3,000 people in Europe.
