MMK Award of Excellence - Startups
In 2025, we will once again present the MMK Award in the "Startups" category. This prize is awarded to outstanding start-ups that are characterized by innovative ideas, pioneering technologies and creative business concepts.
Last year's award winner DeepDrive GmbH is an outstanding example of such innovative start-ups. DeepDrive develops highly efficient electric drives that not only revolutionize the automotive industry, but also make an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. Their technology impressively demonstrates how innovative approaches from Germany can address global challenges.
The Munich Management Colloquium also shows time and again that German start-ups can achieve outstanding success with innovative strength and entrepreneurial spirit. At the next Munich Management Colloquium on March 11 and 12, 2025, start-ups will once again present their companies to more than 1,000 managers, demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit, entrepreneurship and innovation. A jury of experts from business and science will evaluate the solutions. Important criteria include
- Degree of innovation,
- Funding,
- Sales growth,
- Number of customers,
- Scalability,
- Market potential,
- Social contribution and
- Degree of transferability.
The start-ups to be awarded must make a measurable contribution to the innovative strength and competitiveness of the economy. This can be through disruptive technologies, the creation of new markets, the promotion of digitalization or the development of sustainable business models. Solutions that are significantly more innovative and efficient than competing products deserve public recognition.
