On March 10, 2026, we will once again present the MMK Award in the "Startups" category. This award recognizes outstanding start-ups that stand out for their innovative ideas, pioneering technologies and creative business concepts.

Courage for new management approaches

The Munich Management Colloquium also proves time and again that German start-ups can achieve outstanding success with innovative strength and entrepreneurial spirit. At the next Munich Management Colloquium on March 10 and 11, 2026, start-ups will once again present their companies to more than 1,000 managers, who will be impressed by their entrepreneurial spirit, entrepreneurship and innovation. A jury of experts from business and science will evaluate the solutions. Important criteria include

Degree of innovation,
Funding,
Sales growth,
Number of customers,
Scalability,
Market potential,
Social contribution and
Degree of transferability.

The start-ups to be awarded must make a measurable contribution to the innovative strength and competitiveness of the economy. This can be through disruptive technologies, the creation of new markets, the promotion of digitalization or the development of sustainable business models. Solutions that are significantly more innovative and efficient than competing products deserve public recognition.

The jury

A jury of experts from business and science evaluates the submitted concepts and selects the winner. It brings a wide range of expertise and experience to the table in order to recognize innovative approaches.
