ince September 1, 2019 Mr. Volker Bibelhausen Chief Technology Officer of the Weidmüller Group and responsible for the three divisions at Weidmüller including technology and product development as well as the entire value chain, i.e. purchasing, production, logistics and quality. Volker Bibelhausen began his career in 1990 as a development engineer for electronics. After holding various positions in Germany and the USA, he moved to the international sales department of a manufacturer of switchgear and medium-voltage systems in 1995, with stations in Germany and Austria.
From 1997 to 2013, Volker Bibelhausen held various positions at Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, most recently as Head of the Control and Industry Solutions Division and member of the Executive Board, with global responsibility for the automation and solutions business. In 2013, he moved to the Bosch Group, where he was Head of Sales for Factory Automation in Central Europe at Bosch Rexroth AG. Before joining the Weidmüller Group, he managed the global customer teams at Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH with a focus on Japan and the USA.
Volker Bibelhausen was born in Bremen in 1965, lives in Detmold, is married and has three children. After school and vocational training, he studied electrical engineering and also holds an MBA.
He is a member of the project advisory board of the Fraunhofer IOSB in Karlsruhe in the field of artificial intelligence.
