Uwe Wöhner

Member of the Executive Board of GRAMMER AG since February 2001 and responsible for the Automotive division.

In March 2002 Uwe Wöhner was appointed to the position of Labor Director of GRAMMER AG by the Supervisory Board.

After completing his vocational training and successfully completing a degree in mechanical engineering, Uwe Wöhner has worked exclusively in the automotive supply industry for the last 20 years. His career has taken him to Ymos AG in Offenbach, Lemmerz KG in Königswinter and TRW in Barsinghausen.

Before joining GRAMMER as a member of the Executive Board, Uwe Wöhner was Managing Director and Labour Director of TRW Deutschland GmbH, a global technology group specializing in high-quality equipment parts for the automotive and aerospace industries.

GRAMMER AG, Amberg, is a global leader in the innovative development and manufacture of components and systems for car interiors as well as driver and passenger seats. Wherever people are traveling in vehicles, GRAMMER sets the tone in terms of safety, comfort and ergonomics. In its largest segment, Automotive, the company supplies headrests to renowned premium car manufacturers and system suppliers to the automotive industry. The second division, Seating Systems, comprises the truck and offroad seats (tractors, construction machinery, forklifts) as well as train and bus seats. Grammer Seating Systems is active in both the OEM and aftermarket business.

As a global group of companies, the Group continuously creates framework conditions that are geared towards the customer. This includes the selection of development and production locations and the creation of an international partner network.

In fiscal year 2006, GRAMMER generated Group revenue of EUR 880 million and with over 8,500 employees in 30 consolidated companies, the company is represented in 19 countries.
