Tobias Fausch

Tobias Fausch has been with BayWa AG since 2017, since 2024 as CTO before that as CIO and since 2021 also as Managing Director of FarmFacts GmbH. Smart Farming as global digitalization in agriculture, especially with automated field irrigation based on satellite data-supported plant growth and water models, is the objective. A key task as CIO was the reintegration and organization of the previously outsourced IT into the AG. Prior to this, he spent 18 years at BSH in various management positions in IT, controlling, organization and processes as well as internal auditing, including two years in Singapore for the Asia Pacific region. Other previous positions include IT consulting, development management in a start-up, sales for cryotechnology and a one-year research stay in the USA. Mr. Fausch studied physics at the Johannes Gutenberg University and graduated from the Ludwig Maximilians University in 1991.
