Thomas Voigt

Thomas Voigt has been Chairman of the Management Board of VHV Holding SE since 2022 and has been a member of the Management Board since 2003. He has had an extensive career in the VHV Group through numerous management positions and has worked for the Group for over thirty years. The long-term corporate orientation of the mutual insurance company is the central guiding principle of his entrepreneurial activities.

After the economics graduate began his career in the liability insurance sector in 1988, he played a key role in building up surety insurance for the construction industry in the first few years of his career. Voigt took over as head of the corresponding department in 1994 and five years later was a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Kautionsversicherung für die Bauwirtschaft AG. He was subsequently a member of the Management Board of VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG and also its Spokesman from 2009 to 2022.
