Thomas Spangler

Mr. Thomas Spangler, started his professional career in the family business in 1992 after studying materials science with a trainee program. Thomas Spangler initially gained experience in production planning. He took on his first management role in 1994 as production manager at the Brose plant in Querétaro/Mexico. As part of Brose's global expansion, Thomas Spangler moved to China in 2010 as President Asia and made a significant contribution to the successful development of the business. Under his leadership, turnover in the region almost tripled from 400 million euros to almost 1.2 billion euros by 2015. Employment figures rose from 2,700 to around 4,400 employees. From 2015 to 2020, as Managing Director Technology, he was responsible for global production and the management of central pre-development, quality, logistics, production technology and plant planning. His tasks included further increasing productivity and quality in the plants, establishing a global innovation management system and driving forward digitalization. He has been Executive Vice President of the Brose Sitech Group since 2022.
