Thomas Buck

Thomas Buck ist seit Januar 2025 CIO der ZF Group. Der studierte Maschinenbau-Ingenieur begann seine Karriere 1998 als technischer Leiter eines IT-Dienstleisters. Zwischen 2001 und 2007 war Buck in unterschiedlichen Funktionen für die damalige Siemens VDO tätig. Im Anschluss daran verantwortete er bei Continental Automotive den Bereich Engineering Data Management und führte bei dem Unternehmen ein einheitliches PLM-System ein. Fünf Jahre leitete er die weltweite IT-Infrastruktur im Continental-Konzern, bevor er 2016 als CIO in die Automotive-Sparte des Unternehmens wechselte. 2019 separierte Buck die IT im Rahmen der Vitesco-Ausgliederung aus dem Mutterkonzern und übernahm im Anschluss daran die Position des Group CIO bei Vitesco Technologies. Buck gilt als ausgewiesener Experte in den Bereichen Transformation, Künstliche Intelligenz, Digitalisierung und IT-Security.
