Theophil Graband

Theophil Graband, Chairman of the Management Board of TeamBank AGspoke in his presentation on the topic of "Challenges as opportunities - Successful in difficult times".

Theophil Graband studied economics. He began his professional career as a trainee at Dresdner Bank AG. He moved to BMW AG in 1984, where he took over the management of BMW Bank in 1994. In 1997, Theophil Grabend moved to Franken WKV and Noris Verbraucherbank GmbH in the function of Spokesman of the Management Board. With the founding of Norisbank AG, Mr. Graband became Spokesman of the Management Board, and with the sale to the cooperative DZ BANK AG on October 1, 2003, he became Chairman of the Management Board of the company. In 2007, the financial services provider was renamed TeamBank AG.

In his contribution to the 17th Munich Management Colloquium, Mr. Graband will explain how TeamBank AG succeeds in generating competitive advantages in times of crisis. Despite the sustained crisis in the banking industry, TeamBank was able to realize sales growth. Mr. Graband will present the recipes for success. He will also discuss the current situation of the cooperative association of Volks- & Raiffeisenbanken.
