Sven Spies

Mr. Sven Spies, Chairman of the Management Board of GEDORE Verwaltungs-GmbH & Co. KG, Remscheid, spoke on the subject: "From diversified management styles to a sustainable and multidimensional management approach - change as a stress test using the example of an internationally operating medium-sized company".

Sven Spies, born in Berleburg in 1968, heads GEDORE Verwaltungs-GmbH as Chairman of the Management Board. After training as a businessman for motor vehicles, parts and accessories, he studied business administration at the Philipps University in Marburg, where he later also worked as a research assistant. This was followed by positions in management and executive management in the automotive supply industry, private equity and operational restructuring until he finally took over the chairmanship of the GEDORE Management Board from Karen Dowidat, granddaughter of founder Otto Dowidat, in 2013.
