Since February 2019 Stefan Klebert Chairman of the Executive Board of GEA Group AG, of which he has been a member since November 2018.
On the Executive Board, he is responsible for all five divisions as well as the regions and country organizations. He also performs the function of Labor Director. In addition to Corporate Human Resources, he is also responsible for Sustainability, Digitalization, Group Communications & Brand, Corporate Legal, Compliance & Insurance.
Previously, Stefan Klebert was CEO of the industrial group Schuler AG for eight years. He began his career in marketing and sales at Festo in the automation technology sector. He has also held management positions in various listed companies, for example as Managing Director in the elevator sector at Schindler and as Divisional Director at Thyssenkrupp.
Stefan Klebert, born in June 1965 in Stuttgart, Germany, is a trained mechanic, studied mechanical engineering at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brunel University, London, UK.
