Mr. Russel Fadel, President & General Manager of ThingWorxTM at PTC Inc.spoke on the topic of "Smart and Connected Products in the Internet of Things".

Russel (Russ) Fadel is President and General Manager of ThingWorxTM, a PTC business. In this position, Fadel is responsible for growing ThingWorx's business. Prior to the acquisition by PTC, Fadel was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of ThingWorx, provider of an award-winning platform for running Internet of Things applications with powerful, easy-to-use capabilities to integrate with business applications or build your own. Prior to founding ThingWorx, Fadel was Chief Executive Officer and a founding member of Lighthammer Software Development. Prior to Lighthammer, Fadel co-founded two other successful companies in the software and hardware space. Russ Fadel studied mechanical engineering at Duke University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
