Rainer Nagel, Managing Partner, ATREUS interim management discusses the use of interim managers in times of crisis in his presentation "Interim management - an instrument for professional crisis management".

Rainer Nagel (45) is Managing Partner of Atreus GmbH, headquartered in Munich. He has more than 20 years of experience in general management, sales and interim management. Previously he was Managing Partner at Boyden Interim Management and Partner of Boyden World Corporation, Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BRAIN International AG, Member of the Management Board of the Cordless and Mobile Phones Divisions of Siemens AG and Member of the Management Board of Siemens IT Services Germany. As part of his work for Siemens AG, he completed a one-year change agent training program at various US universities including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford Business School. His consulting focus at Atreus is on the IT and telecommunications, mechanical engineering, manufacturing and consumer goods industries as well as family businesses and private equity. His professional and functional expertise focuses in particular on filling top management positions, restructuring and reorganization, management of complex transformation processes, growth and human resources.

Atreus is the market leader in the use of interim managers in Germany and a specialist in supporting companies in transformation situations such as restructuring and reorganization, in the management of complex project tasks from temporarily staffed line functions, in the implementation of cost reduction and growth programs or in dealing with other special situations.
