Prof. Dr. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer

Prof. Dr. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Robert Bosch GmbH since January 1, 2022. From July 2013 to the end of 2021, he was Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH. He is responsible for Finance and Accounting, Controlling, Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Taxes. He is also responsible for Purchasing and Logistics and for the Global Business Services central unit. He has been a partner at Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG since January 1, 2018. He has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH since July 1, 2019.

Stefan Asenkerschbaumer was born in Burghausen in 1956, he is married and has two children. After commercial vocational training and military service, he completed his degree in business education at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1982 and in business administration in 1984. He then completed his doctorate on the subject of corporate innovation management. In mid-March 2013, he took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SupplyOn AG. At the beginning of 2017, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg appointed him honorary professor. He has been President of the Schmalenbach Society for Business Administration since January 2019.
