Prof. Dr. Schick, Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG, Human Resources and Labor Director, Bonn, will speak at the Munich Management Colloquium 2013 on the topic of "Qualified employees - a key to customer orientation".
Deutsche Telekom AG based in Bonn, is the largest telecommunications company in Europe. The Group, which emerged from the privatization of Deutsche Bundespost, now employs over 230,000 people worldwide, including over 100,000 employees in Germany. With activities such as the provision of information and communication services and the operation of technical networks, the company achieved a turnover of almost 59 billion euros in 2011.
Prof. Dr. Marion Schickborn in 1958, has been Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director at Deutsche Telekom AG since May 2012. Before joining Deutsche Telekom AG, she was Minister for Culture, Youth and Sport in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Until 2010, Marion Schick was responsible for Human Resources and Legal Affairs as a member of the Executive Board of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. From 2000 to 2008, she was the first woman in Bavaria to serve as President of Munich University of Applied Sciences. Marion Schick began her academic career in 1993 as Professor of Human Resources Management, Cost Accounting and General Business Administration at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
