Prof. Dr.-Ing. Manfred Hirt

Manfred Hirt, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, has worked for various companies since 1974. In 1990, he was appointed to the Executive Board of RENK AG with responsibility for design, development, quality assurance and sales. In 1995, he was appointed Spokesman of the Executive Board. In addition to his work at RENK AG, Prof. Hirt is also an honorary professor at the Technical University of Munich and is active on the boards and executive committees of numerous German and European associations, e.g. as Chairman of the Research Association for Drive Technology (FVA) in the VDMA.

In his lecture, Prof. Hirt will show ways in which high-tech innovations in drive technology can be the basis for economic success and jobs in Germany. His diverse activities and many years of international experience make him an interesting speaker at the Munich Management Colloquium.
