Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Utz-Hellmuth Felcht

Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Utz-Hellmuth Felcht joined Höchst AG in 1977 after studying chemistry and earning his doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.). After holding various management and executive positions, he has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Degussa AG since February 9, 2001, a member of the Board of Management of RAG AG and a member of various supervisory boards (including SGL Carbon AG and Gerling-Konzern Versicherungs-Beteiligungs-AG).

In addition to his function as Chairman of the Management Board of Degussa AG, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Utz-Hellmuth Felcht is Vice President of the Presidium of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), a member of the Board of the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany and a member of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Board of the Bavarian State Government.
