Peter Lauterbach

Mr. Peter Lauterbach, Chairman of the Management Board of _wige Media AG, spoke on the topic "Yesterday was tomorrow today! A strong past to drive the future".

Founded in 1979, _wige MEDIA AG is a leading communications company in the sports and automotive sector with a wide range of media services in the core areas of technology and content. With its subsidiaries and 310 employees, _wige operates year-round as a technical and editorial service provider, marketing and event partner for numerous major sports organizers, for example for DTM and Formula 1 races, and for leading companies. In the 2015 financial year, the company generated revenue of EUR 18.72 million.

Mr. Peter Lauterbach, Born in Darmstadt in 1976, he has been CEO of _wige MEDIA AG in Cologne since 2013, after becoming a member of the Management Board in 2011 with the contribution of ByLauterbach GmbH. While studying political science, history and law at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, he worked as an editor and presenter for Radio FFH and the Kirch Group, among others. In 2003, he founded ByLauterbach GmbH and built it up. From 2007 until he joined _wige, he presented Formula 1 for Sky Deutschland.
