Dipl.-Ing. Olaf Mollenhauer, Managing Partner Managing Partner of TETRA GmbH in Ilmenau, spoke in his presentation "TETRA from engineer to technology company" about options for action for globally active companies, particularly in light of the crisis.
Mr. Mollenhauer can report from his comprehensive point of view, resulting from his activities as a member of the board of WK VERDIAN, as a member of the supervisory board of ELMUG e.G. and from the association of Thuringian measurement and equipment technicians, his experience in the field of co-determination in globalization and, based on his own strengths, to transform the existing potential into market success.
After training as a radio mechanic, Olaf Mollenhauer began his engineering studies in the field of device technology at Ilmenau Technical University in 1979. Following his studies, Mr. Mollenhauer was able to specialize as an assistant at the Technical University of Ilmenau in the device technology section. Before his spin-off with his former fellow student Dr.-Ing. Andreas Karguth in the start-up center of the Technical University of Ilmenau, he was employed as a project engineer at Höfer&Bechtel GmbH in Mainhausen. Since 1992, Olaf Mollenhauer has been managing partner of TETRA Gesellschaft für Sensorik, Robotik und Automation mbH, a company specializing in sensor technology, robotics and automation. His company's portfolio includes products, systems and components for precision mechatronics in the field of micro sensors, precision drives and robotics as well as OEMs, system solutions and specific R&D services.
Olaf Mollenhauer has been active in the Association for the Promotion of Instrument Engineering since 1997 and in the Association for the Promotion of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TUI, since 1996. Furthermore, Mr. Mollenhauer has been involved in the Association of German Engineers since 1990. In his contribution to the 17th Munich Management Colloquium, Olaf Mollenhauer will address the topic of co-determination in globalization as an important contribution to crisis management.
