After completing her commercial training Mrs. Nicole Wallner joined his parents' mechanical engineering company Knight-Europe. Knight Europe developed and produced innovative handling manipulators, screwdriving systems and special conveyor technology. Starting with the sale of the complex, partly fully automated systems, she took on increasing responsibility and from 2008 also took over the management of the company. Following the successful sale of the company to the Finnish crane manufacturer Konecranes, Ms. Wallner moved into management and was responsible for integrating the new division into the Group and was responsible for sales worldwide as Sales Director.

At the end of 2011, the entrepreneurial streak regained the upper hand and Ms. Wallner founded a mechanical engineering company that developed innovative lightweight solutions in handling technology. The company was characterized by strong growth and was finally taken over by an investor from Graz in 2018.

Since the beginning of 2019, Ms. Wallner has been responsible for the development of the Automation & Handling division at Drees & Sommer subsidiary dsa-engineering and plans complete assembly solutions with her team. In 2006, Ms. Wallner won a special prize of the MM Award on the occasion of Automatica. 2016 the Robotic Award on the occasion of the Hannover Messe. In 2012, she submitted her first patent for a telescopic guide system.
