Natalia Oropeza has over 30 years of experience in the field of information technology and holds several academic qualifications, including a degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance. She has extensive international expertise and holds the position of Global Chief Cybersecurity Officer at Siemens as well as Chief Diversity, Inclusion & Equity Officer.

Natalia Oropeza has been Global Chief Cybersecurity Officer since 2018 and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Siemens since 2020.

With over two decades of experience, she is recognized as an outstanding leader in cybersecurity and a passionate advocate for diversity.

Before joining Siemens, Natalia was Chief Information Security Officer at Volkswagen Group, where she successfully led major IT transformation initiatives.

In her current role at Siemens, she leads a global team of more than 1,300 cybersecurity experts focused on protecting the company's infrastructure and providing trusted cybersecurity services to customers worldwide.

As Chair of the Charter of Trust, Natalia works closely with renowned industry partners such as Allianz, IBM and Microsoft to improve global cybersecurity standards and promote digital trust.

Natalia is passionate about creating an inclusive work environment. She champions diversity initiatives at Siemens and ensures that diverse backgrounds and perspectives contribute to innovation and shared success. Her goal is to empower people from all walks of life, especially within the technology industry.
