LtGen Michael Vetter

Since April 1, 2019, Lieutenant General Michael Vetter has been Head of the Cyber/Information Technology Department and Chief Information Officer at the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin. He joined the German Air Force as an officer candidate on 1 July 1982 and studied economics and organizational sciences at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich from 1983 to 1986, where he graduated with a degree in business administration. In the course of his career, he held various staff positions, including at the Air Transport Command, the Air Force Support Command and several times at the Federal Ministry of Defense.
