Kilian Kärgel

Mr. Kilian Kärgel, Office of the Managing Director Mobility of Stadtwerke München GmbH, spoke on the topic "Smart City in practice - digitalization of urban infrastructures".

After studying tourism management at the Faculty of Economics in Ingolstadt and at the Management Center Innsbruck, Mr. Kärgel worked in the group strategy department of DB AG and DB Vertrieb GmbH on the development of strategic mobility concepts. Mr. Kärgel heads the Multimodal Mobility Strategy department at the management of Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft. Since 2017, he has also been the digitization officer of the Bavarian regional group of the VDV (Association of German Transport Companies).
