Mr. Jim Vounassis, Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Transportation, spoke on the topic "Digital Factory 4.0 and Cultural Change to drive Productivity in BT".

Mr. Jim Vounassis has been Chief Operating Officer at Bombardier Transportation since June 2018. In this position, he is responsible for the global production, quality and procurement areas and for the further development of the production strategy. His priorities include improving competitiveness in all ecosystems, implementing operational excellence in the rail segment and optimizing quality and delivery performance. Mr. Vounassis began his career at Kraft Canade before joining Pratt and Whitney for nine years, where he held various management roles, including Vice President, Strategic Sourcing. He also worked at Baker Hughes from 2009 to 2012, first as Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing Strategy and then as Vice President, Global Manufacturing. In June 2015, Mr. Vounassis joined Bombardier as Vice President, Operations Strategy before being promoted to Chief Transformation and Procurement Officer in January 2016.
