In his presentation, Hermann-Josef Lamberti will address the topic of "IT & Operations in Banking - Catching the Wave".

 

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Lamberti is responsible for cost and infrastructure management, for information technology and operations, for building and space management as well as for purchasing at Deutsche Bank worldwide. Until January 2002, Hermann-Josef Lamberti was responsible on the Management Board for the client and sales side of the Private Clients and Asset Management (PCAM) division and, as Chief Information Officer (CIO), for Deutsche Bank's information technology. In October 1999, Hermann-Josef Lamberti was appointed to the Board of Managing Directors and was responsible for the Global Technology and Services division until February 2001; he successfully implemented the IT integration of Bankers Trust and the Y2K changeover.

Hermann-Josef Lamberti studied business administration in Cologne and Dublin before starting his career in the financial sector and graduated in 1981 with a degree in business administration. He then worked at Touche Ross in Toronto in the areas of auditing and consulting and at Chemical Bank in Frankfurt in foreign exchange trading.
