Hansbert Ott

Mr. Hansbert Ott, Managing Director of WEINMANN Holzbausystemtechnik GmbHspoke in his lecture about "Automation and flexibilization is not a contradiction: opportunities for house building".

WEINMANN Holzbausystemtechnik GmbH was founded in 1985 as a small mechanical engineering company. Since its foundation, the company has focused on the manufacture of modern, high-performance machines, plants and systems for timber construction. From the very beginning, the focus has been on the development of innovative, customer and market-oriented technology. This results in specific and individual solutions for every stage of production. By joining the HOMAG Group in 1998, WEINMANN Holzbausystemtechnik GmbH was able to take the step from a medium-sized craft business to an industrial company with an international orientation.

After successfully completing his studies in mechanical engineering Hansbert Ott as a design engineer and later as a project engineer in a mechanical engineering company that supplied transfer lines for the automotive industry. Mr. Ott has been a managing partner at WEINMANN Holzbausystemtechnik GmbH since 1992. He is responsible for sales, marketing and service.
