Hans-Gerd Claus

Mr. Hans-Gerd Claus, Member of the Management Board of Bertrandt AG, spoke on the topic "Bertrandt - Innovative strength for the mobility of the future".

Mr. Hans-Gerd Claus studied mechanical engineering at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, specializing in agricultural machinery technology, until 1997. In the same year, he began his career as a CAE engineer at a development service provider in the AUDI environment. In 2001, he moved to Bertrandt Ingenieurbüro GmbH in Ingolstadt, where he worked as a CAE team leader. Two years later, he became head of the CAE department for the Ingolstadt, Munich, Neckarsulm and Wolfsburg sites.

Between 2007 and 2012, he held various positions within the Bertrandt Group. He initially took on the position of Head of Functional Design/Simulation CAE, which he held across the Group from 2007. From 2008, he also became Head of Testing and Trials and an authorized signatory. In 2009, he was Branch Manager of Bertrand Ingenieur GmbH in Ingolstadt, and became its Managing Director in 2011. In October 2012, Hans-Gerd Claus was appointed to the Management Board of Bertrandt AG, of which he is still a member today. He is responsible for the Technology division.
