Hanno Renner is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Personio, Europe's leading all-in-one HR software platform.
Driven by the belief that people are the most important success factor for any business and that SMEs are the backbone of the economy and society, Hanno decided to start a company that makes a positive impact on the world. Today, nine years later, Hanno leads a company with 1,800 employees that helps more than 14,000 organizations optimize their HR processes and supports over one million employees on the Personio platform.

In addition to the day-to-day business at Personio, Hanno is strongly committed to promoting talent and supporting the startup ecosystem in Europe. He is an active board member of the German Startup Association and advocates for entrepreneurship in Germany and beyond. Hanno is also co-founder and chairman of the Personio Foundation, which supports forward-thinking non-profit organizations addressing major issues such as climate change and education.
