Frieder C. Löhrer

Mr. Frieder C. Löhrer, Chairman of the Executive Board of Loewe AG in Kronach, spoke in his presentation "In times of crisis, vision means transparency and courage" about primary success factors for overcoming crises.

Frieder C. Löhrer successfully completed mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Business Administration (MBA) at Henley College (UK). His professional career took him via Thyssen and Wacker Chemie to Zumtobel AG, Dornbirn/Austria, before he became Managing Director of WECO GmbH and Rodenstock Instrumente GmbH in 1998. Since July 2004, Löhrer has been a member of the Management Board of Rolf Benz AG & Co. Under his leadership as CEO, the company concentrated on its core business "Seating" ("Rolf Benz - The Architecture of Seating"), a consistent realignment of the brand in the premium segment and the intensification of the export business. Since June 9, 2008, Frieder C. Löhrer has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Loewe AG, one of the leading premium brands in the area of home entertainment systems.
