Ekkehart Gläser

Mr. Ekkehart Gläser, Managing Director for Production and Quality (Fendt) at AGCO GmbHspoke at the "Digitalization in global agricultural technology".

After studying engineering and industrial engineering at the Technical University of Munich Mr. Ekkehart Gläser began his career at Porsche AG in Zuffenhausen. He initially worked there as a process planner and later as an assistant to the production manager before becoming an independent consultant four years later, specializing in lean manufacturing for the automotive and supplier industry.

In 2004, he moved to the French site of the agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS, first as logistics manager and later as head of overall production.

He has been working for the AGCO Group since July 2011. He started as plant manager at the Fendt site in Bäumenheim and was able to actively shape the plant restructuring as part of the Fendt ahead² Group project. In January 2014, he moved to Marktoberdorf, where he is responsible for the entire Fendt production as Production Manager.
