Dr. Sven J. Körner

Dr. Sven J. Körner is Vice President Community at Aleph Alpha, where he builds bridges between research, enterprise, product teams, and public discourse to drive the adoption of sovereign AI infrastructure in Europe. He brings nearly two decades of experience in AI, NLP, semantic computing, and knowledge-based systems.

Sven holds a PhD in Computer Science and has published his work with IEEE, ACM, and other leading institutions. Before joining Aleph Alpha, he was the co-founder and CEO of thingsTHINKING, where he developed AI systems that enabled computers to apply common sense reasoning in real-world enterprise use cases. For this, he was recognized as AI Champion Baden-Württemberg.

A seasoned public speaker, Sven has delivered keynotes at events like Dreamforce, CeBit, and IEEE conferences, advocating for real-world, high-impact AI applications. At MMK Heilbronn, he shares insights into AI Hypersystems - scalable, interconnected AI architectures that are critical for European industrial resilience and innovation.
