Studied economics and business education in Cologne and London. Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) in December 1996 at the University of Cologne.

1997 - 2014 various functions in Germany and abroad - first in European financial management and then in regional and global HR management at Procter & Gamble, a US consumer goods company - including three years at the global corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, USA.

2014 - 2021 Global HR responsibility as Executive Vice President HR at Heraeus, a leading global technology group based in Hanau.

2021 Appointment as Group Managing Director Human Resources (CHRO) at ebm-papst in Mulfingen.
