Dr. Siegfried Jaschinski

Dr. Siegfried Jaschinski, Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) will speak on the topic of "The house bank: strategic constant in the growth and change process".

Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), formed on January 1, 1999 from the merger of SüdwestLB, Landesgirokasse and the market part of L-Bank, is a universal bank and international commercial bank with full freedom of business and establishment. At the same time, it is the central bank of the savings banks in Baden-Württemberg and, together with Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz, the central bank of the savings banks in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Together with the legally dependent institution Baden-Württembergische Bank (BW-Bank), which has been integrated into LBBW since August 1, 2005, Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz (LRP) as a wholly-owned subsidiary and specialized subsidiaries, it is active in all business areas of a modern major bank.

As the Group's umbrella organization, LBBW is responsible for the management tasks for the entire Group. In addition, it bundles the competencies for the Financial Markets division, from balance sheet and portfolio consulting and the development of financial market products to trading and sales on the international capital market, treasury and research. LBBW is directly responsible for national and international corporate customers, institutional customers and public sector institutions. Other areas of focus include international business and special products such as leverage finance and structured finance.

Dr. Siegfried Jaschinski studied history and philosophy at the University of Düsseldorf (Dr. Phil.) and business administration at the University of Cologne (Dipl. Kfm.). Dr. Jaschinski's professional career includes positions at Trinkaus & Burkhardt in Düsseldorf and at Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt, where he held the position of Director in the Investment Banking division. From 1994 to 1999, Dr. Jaschinski was a member of the Management Board of Südwestdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (SüdwestLB), Stuttgart/Mannheim, which merged with Landesgirokasse (LG) and the market division of Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg (L-Bank) to form Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) on January 1, 1999. He has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) since 1999 and Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) since 2005; responsible for the Corporate Center department.
