Dr. Roland Buschborn in Erlangen in 1964, is a member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG and is responsible for the Infrastructure & Cities sector and the Asia-Pacific cluster as CEO. After studying physics and completing his doctorate at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, he began his professional career in the Siemens Group as a project manager in the Corporate Research and Development department. This was followed by further management positions in various specialist areas of the Siemens Group. In 2011, Dr. Roland Busch was appointed to the Managing Board of Siemens AG.
