In his presentation, Dr. Paul Gromball will address the topic of "Increasing value through integrated corporate management: Business Intelligence Control Center BIN: GO".

Dr. Paul Gromball completed his MBA studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. He completed his doctorate in 1983 at the Technical University in Karlsruhe on the subject of "Strategy and dynamics of economic conflict situations".

Gromball began his professional career in 1979 as a project manager at McKinsey, focusing on linking technology strategies with marketing in the fields of information technology, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. From 1983 to 1987, Gromball was Head of Sales at Phoenix in Mannheim, where he introduced key innovations to effectively increase sales and electronic customer dialog. Together with business partners, Dr. Paul Gromball founded the TMG Technology Management Group in 1987 and is still Managing Director of TMG Global Resourcing GmbH, based in Munich and Boston. In cooperation with MIT in Boston, he developed the basic technology for Knowledge Factory 6.5 during this time.

His biography reads like a logical progression to the main topic of "Technology and Organization". It begins as early as 1968, when Gromball's early interest in this field was confirmed by winning a "Jugend forscht" competition for Germany and Europe. The prize was awarded for his innovative reception technology for solar radio astronomy, which enabled completely new explanatory models for the sun's radio radiation to be established. Gromball consistently expanded his expertise in this area and, as early as 1979, developed the MIT/HBS system for the dynamics of economic conflict situations based on the findings of modern control technology. A few years later, Gromball applied its bundled know-how in the computer-based McKinsey sales increase program and, with the Phoenix C-15, provided a computer as an online merchandise management system directly to the customer for the first time. As one of the leading experts in the field of "technology and organization", Gromball is involved in the development of the first global airfreight value added network at Lufthansa as early as 1989. With consistency and enthusiasm, Gromball founded the first mobile track & trace system Eurolog for Deutsche Telekom in the early nineties and designed an electronic marketplace for US financial products (Get Smart.com). The combination of his in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience led to the founding of the innovative company Healy Hudson, with which Gromball positioned himself as one of the pioneers in the field of e-sourcing in 1997, using web technology specifically for global cost reduction. With Knowledge Factory 6.5, this technological experience is finally used to tap into global growth potential and align strategy, marketing and sales processes specifically to individual customer needs.
