Dr. Paul Achleitner, Member of the Board of Management of Allianz SE in Munichspoke in his presentation "Capital market and entrepreneurship" about the possibilities and opportunities that arise from successful entrepreneurship in the capital market.
Paul Achleitner studied at the University of St. Gallen and Harvard Business School. In 1984, he began his professional career at the management consultancy Bain & Co, from where he moved to the investment bank Goldman Sachs & Co in 1988. After several positions in New York and London, he was Goldman Sachs Resident Partner in Frankfurt from 1994 to 1999. In 2000, he was appointed to the Board of Management of Allianz SE, where he is responsible for Group Finance. Paul Achleitner is a member of the Supervisory Boards of Bayer and RWE and a member of various committees (e.g. Takeover Advisory Board, Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code, Stock Exchange Expert Commission). He is also an honorary professor of finance at WHU Koblenz and a member of the board of the WHU Foundation.
