Dr. Michael Büchsner (born 1975, Austrian citizen) is Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Over the past 20 years, he has held various management positions at automotive supplier TRW in Austria, Germany and the USA and, following the takeover of TRW by ZF Friedrichshafen AG, at the latter. His last position there was global responsibility for the Passive Safety Systems division. His main areas of responsibility were strategy, finance, investments and customer relations. Dr. Michael Büchsner holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Graz University of Technology, where he also later completed his doctorate, as well as an Executive MBA from the St. Gallen Institute.
