Dr. Martin Wienkenhöver, CEO of CABB International GmbH in Sulzbach am Taunusspoke in his presentation "Strategic development and operational excellence of a global market leader in the chemical industry" about the success factors of CABB International GmbH and how these will ensure sustainable growth in the future.

Dr. Martin Wienkenhöver began his career at Bayer AG in 1985 as a chemical developer in the field of dyestuff production and was promoted to Head of Development in the Dyes Division in 1988. From 1993 to 1994, he held the position of Head of Department. Until 1995, he worked as a key account manager in the marketing department of Bayer dyes before moving to DyStar Textilfarben GmbH in Frankfurt. He returned to Bayer AG in 1999 as Managing Director of the Chemicals Business Group and was promoted to the Board of Management in 2002. In 2005, he moved to the Board of Management of Lanxess AG and became an independent consultant in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, he worked on the Board of Management of Nordzucker AG before returning to his consulting activities. He has been CEO of CABB International GmbH since 2010.

In his contribution to the 19th Munich Management Colloquium, Dr. Martin Wienkenhöver will present the success factors of the globally operating fine chemicals company CABB and show how to stay close to customers and markets through speed, flexibility and quality. A special focus will be placed on ways to operate and grow in a resource-conserving manner, even in the energy-intensive chemical industry. CABB benefits from an organizational structure in which small, independently operating units work together with a high degree of autonomy. The result is rapid availability for customers and a high degree of flexibility.
