The HOERBIGER Group, Zug, Switzerland, is a global leader in the fields of compression technology, automation technology and drive technology. 6000 employees generate sales of around 1 billion euros. Dr. Martin Komischke studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and received his doctorate from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1988. After completing his doctorate, his career initially took him to Mannesmann-Sachs and Kolbenschmidt AG before he became Chairman of the Management Board of Hoerbiger Antriebstechnik GmbH in 1993. He has been a member of the Group Executive Board since 1996 and became Chairman of the Group Executive Board of Hoerbiger Holding AG in 2004.
