Dr. Jürgen Wilder

Dr. Jürgen Wilder, Member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG, spoke on the topic "Knorr-Bremse in the digital transformation".

Dr. Jürgen Wilder has been a member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG since 2018 and is responsible for the Rail Vehicle Systems division worldwide. He completed his academic training - studying physics at Georg-August University in Göttingen, followed by a doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz - in 1999. After a post-doc at the Department of Chemistry at Harvard University in Cambridge, USA, Dr. Wilder began his career at Siemens Management Consulting in Munich and New York. He then moved to Siemens Industry Inc. in Sacramento, USA, where he gained further international and management experience as CEO Rolling Stock Business USA. At Siemens AG in Germany, he then took on the position of Head of Strategy Infrastructure and Cities Sector before becoming CEO Global Business Unit Mainline Transportation. Before joining Knorr-Bremse, he was Chairman of the Executive Board of DB Cargo AG in Frankfurt with global responsibility for rail freight transportation at DB AG.
