Dr. Joachim Kreuzburg has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Sartorius AG since 2005. After studying mechanical engineering in Hanover, specializing in thermodynamics and vehicle construction, Kreuzburg initially worked at the Lower Saxony Institute for Solar Energy Research in Hamelin. In 1995, he moved to the Department of Economics at the University of Hanover as a research assistant, where he completed his doctorate in 1999 on a topic related to environmental economics. Joachim Kreuzburg has held various management positions at Sartorius AG since 1999 and has been a member of the Executive Board since 2002. He also holds numerous other positions. Among other things, he is on the Supervisory Board of Carl Zeiss AG, the Advisory Board of ottobock GmbH & Co. KG, the Regional Advisory Board of Commerzbank AG and the Economic Advisory Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank.
