Dr. Jan Hunger

Dr. Jan Hungerborn in 1974, completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic in 1996. In 2000, he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Dr. Jan Hunger then completed a second degree in industrial engineering, which he completed with distinction in 2002. At the same time, he worked as a research assistant. In 2009, he completed his doctorate as Dr. rer. pol. at the TU Munich.

From 2000 to 2004, he carried out numerous national and international consulting projects in various sectors of industry. The focus of this work was on supporting the adaptation and introduction of methods and tools for product and process optimization.

Since 2005, he has been working for Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulikzylinderwerk since 2005 and has been a managing partner in this company and other companies in the Hunger Hydraulik Group since 2009.

Dr. Hunger is deputy chairman of the "Business Administration and Corporate Management" committee of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). He has given numerous specialist lectures and guest lectures, including at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg and the Friedrich-Alexander University of Nuremberg-Erlangen.
