Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Stein

Dr. Wolfgang Stein, Spokesman of the Management Board of the Hamburg plant of ThyssenKrupp Fahrtreppen GmbHwill be giving a lecture entitled "Escalators - a small building block in the global elevator business" at the 16th MMK.

ThyssenKrupp Fahrtreppen GmbH is a company of ThyssenKrupp Elevator. As an integral part of one of the world's largest technology groups, ThyssenKrupp Fahrtreppen GmbH develops, produces and sells escalators and moving walks for commercial buildings and transportation facilities around the world.

After completing his doctorate, Dr. Stein worked for two German companies before taking over responsibility for the development and design of escalators at ThyssenKrupp Fahrtreppen GmbH, Hamburg in 1995. In 2002, he also became responsible for production at the Hamburg plant. From 2004 to 2007, he took over the management of the three global escalator plants and the three passenger boarding bridge plants in the management company, ThyssenKrupp Elevator (ES/PBB) GmbH. Since 2008, he has been the spokesman for the management of the Hamburg plant.

His many years of experience in international corporate business make him an interesting speaker at the Munich Management Colloquium.
