Dr.-Ing. Knut Kille, Managing Director of Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft Industrie- und Wirtschaftsberatung mbHspoke on the topic of "Lean Leadership - Productivity Management in Production and Administration".

The German MTM Association was founded in 1962 and currently has 600 corporate members, including well-known German companies such as Airbus, Daimler, Bosch and VW. In recent years, an increasing number of members have come from the service, administration, education and science sectors, which together represent more than 2.75 million employees. Qualified MTM engineers advise the companies' project teams worldwide. The measures are implemented in close cooperation with management, employees and employee representatives. The German MTM Association also continues to promote MTM skills in companies and offers various further training opportunities. Basic MTM and Basic IE have been offered to students at various universities since 2004.

Dr. Knut Kille (51) studied electrical engineering in Stuttgart and Cleveland, USA. From 1989, he worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart. In 1994, he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. In 1997, he joined Robert Bosch GmbH as Head of Industrial Engineering at the company's headquarters in Stuttgart. After further management activities in Germany, Dr. Kille was appointed Country Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Robert Bosch Korea Mechanics and Electronics Ltd. in 2005, where he built up the diesel injection technology plant in Daejeon, South Korea. At the beginning of 2009, he returned to Baden-Württemberg and was responsible for the production of electric motors as Technical Director at the Bühl plant. Since March 2013, he has been Managing Director of the German MTM Association and the Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH. He is Chairman of the German-Korean Business Circle and a member of the Board of the German Economic Council, Rastatt/Baden-Baden section.
